Organic whole wheat pasta can be purchased all year round!

Pasta is a great finger food for older infants and toddlers. Organic pasta is easy to come by and very cheap. Cook according to the directions listed on the pasta bag, making sure to cook thoroughly to create soft, easy to chew pieces. 

 For my son's first time with pasta I choose larger pasta that would be easy to grasp. Over time you can introduce different types of pasta shapes, which will make eating pasta that much more fun!

Whole wheat pasta provides over seven grams of protein in every serving. Which makes it an excellent food to add to your little one's diet. 

Once your child has the hang of eating pasta you can start to add all types of sauces that provide extra flavor and nutrition.
