Fig Puree


Figs

Seven small figs yield about eight ounces of puree.
Figs are in season from late summer to early autumn.



Fig puree is extremely easy to prepare! Start by gently washing. Cut in halves or quarters and remove the stem. Puree in a food processor until smooth. This puree is great alone or mixed with other fruits and vegetables.






Add two cooked pears to this recipe for this scrumptious meal.
