Cauliflower Puree

Cauliflower Puree

One head of cauliflower will produce about 15 ounces of puree.
Cauliflower can be purchased at its freshest during the cool months: fall, winter and early spring.

Wash the head of cauliflower well. Remove leaves and stems. Then chop the cauliflower florets into small chucks and steam for about twenty minutes. Small, tender pieces can be fed to toddlers as is. And for younger babies, puree in a food processor until you reach the desired consistency. It's that easy!

Half a cauliflower and one mango will make this sweet fruit and vegetable combination!

Half a head of steamed cauliflower, one leek and three ounces of cooked red lentils will make this fabulous meal!
