Bell Pepper Puree

Bell Pepper

Two bell peppers yield about 12 ounces of puree.
Bell peppers can be purchased freshest during the summer and fall.

Wash the peppers well. Remove the stem, along with the seeds and any extra pith. Cut into small pieces and steam for about twenty minutes. Steamed pieces can be served to toddlers. For babies, place the steamed peppers into a food processor and puree until you reach a desired consistency.

Add two medium carrots to this recipe for a delicious combination!
